Teen Read Week is a national literacy initiative created by the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), a division of the American Library Association (ALA). | This week (October 12-18) Southington Library celebrates Teen Read Week and encourages teens to read for the fun of it. Teen Read Week is a time to celebrate reading for fun and reading in all its forms--books, graphic novels, comics, magazines, e-books, audiobooks, and more. Reading is a fun and relaxing activity that can be done for free by using the services and resources available at Southington Library. So, in celebration of Teen Read Week, tell me what you're reading... I'm reading Cress by Marissa Meyer, the third book in The Lunar Chronicles series. |
