Take some time to relax from the craziness of school and stop by to make your very own Tasty Terrarium. We will be making terrariums out of chocolate rocks, chocolate cake, and moldable candy melts, which you can take home. Space is limited so register early. Winter is here and you need the perfect mug for your hot chocolate. Stop by on Wednesday, January 24th at 3:00 p.m. to decorate ceramic bowls and mugs using Sharpies and your imagination. Then take your masterpiece home to enjoy with your favorite foods and drinks.

Heather Torre of Verdilune will be leading this program where teens will be able to make two sets of dangling, beaded, brass earrings. Keep one for yourself and give one away for a perfect handmade Christmas present to someone special.
Heather Torre has been creating jewelry for over 25 years. She works with raw, organic materials, such as sterling silver, copper, and brass, as well as unique gemstones and cabochons to create one-of-a-kind pieces of beautiful heirloom jewelry. I am proud to announce that the Southington Public Library now lends out board and card games! Our collection includes Fluxx, Coup, One Night Ultimate Werewolf, Codenames, Sushi Go, Ticket to Ride, Settlers of Catan, Tokaido, and Pandemic, with more to come soon. Our new collection is located in the Teen Zone and games can be checked out for one week. So if you are having some friends over, or having a family night, and need something fun to do, check out a card or board game!
